ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival Kilimanjaro/Arusha Town
Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport by our Representative and driven to your Arusha Hotel where you have been booked on bed and breakfast for the night.

Day 2 – Drive Arusha to Lake Manyara
Breakfast in the Hotel.
08:00hrs You will be picked up at your hotel by your dedicated Safari Driver Guide and drive to Lake Manyara to arrive in time for lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.
Lunch in the lodge with an afternoon at leisure. Optional activities available here include: Guided Nature/Bird Walks, Target Curve Archery, Jogging, Mountain Bike Cycling, Swahili and Cooking lessons among others.
15:30hrs Depart for an evening game viewing drive in the nearby Lake Manyara Park. The extraordinary birdlife and Tree climbing lions are but one of the lure. The place is world-renown amongst the ornithologists, who come to observe the masses of pink flamingos and great birds of prey.

Day 3 – Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After breakfast depart and drive to Serengeti National park drive to Serengeti National Park with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge the ‘Crater of Mankind’ is world famous for the Archaeological discoveries made there by Dr. Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey.
Lunch at your Serengeti Lodge
16:00hrs depart for an afternoon game viewing drive before returning to the lodge in time early evening.

Day 4 – Serengeti National park
Full day in Serengeti National park with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the Park, apart from the Selous, this is the largest of all the Parks in Tanzania, summed up as ‘one of the most unique areas in the world’. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale which has no parallel anywhere in the world.
Even during the height of the migration towards the Masai Mara, there is a huge concentration of plains game in the Reserve, mainly concentrated around the watering places, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work.

Day 5 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast in the lodge, drive to Ngorongoro climbing to the altitude of 8,000 feet. You continue to ascend to the exterior of the crater reaching its rim and here your first glimpse of what has often been referred to as the “Eighth wonder of the World.”
Lunch in the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure
All meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge
Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives. Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe.
Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor. As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the Lodge to arrive in time to refresh for dinner.

Day 7 – Arusha & Departure
After breakfast, depart and drive to Arusha for a farewell lunch at Arusha Serena Hotel or Arusha Coffee Lodge compliment of your Safari host, Afio Mai Africa Safaris
Later you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your homebound flight.
