ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our Hospitality Staff and transfer to your city hotel where you have been booked on a bed and breakfast basis for the night.

Day 2 – Fly to Maasai Game Reserve.
Breakfast in the hotel. 07:30hrs Transfer to Nairobi Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara departing at 10:00hrs.
11:00hrs Met on arrival at the Mara Airstrip and transfer to your lodge/camp for check-in. Enjoy game viewing en-route.
Lunch in the lodge followed by an afternoon at leisure.
16:00hrs Depart for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. The Mara is also noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black manned males. You’ll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if you’re lucky – leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, charge the batteries and enjoy yourself!
18:00hrs Return to the lodge/camp to refresh for dinner.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge / Sarova Mara Game Camp / Ashnil Mara Camp
Days 3 & 4 – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Two full days in the Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives daily in the Reserve. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests.
As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators.
Balloon Safari
Experience the Masai Mara on a different level! Flying high up in the skies above the Masai Mara is the ultimate safari experience. The landscape below is a never-ending exciting mixture of riverine forests, sprawling savannahs, towering escarpments and rugged rivers. Against a back drop of stunning, hot-air balloon flights in the Masai Mara give you a unique vantage point of the abundant wildlife living below. Day 5 – Fly Masai Mara to Nairobi & Departure
09.00hrs, after breakfast in the lodge/camp, check out and transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi departing at 11:00hrs to arrive at 12:15hrs.
Met by our Safari Director and drive to the Carnivore Restaurant for a farewell lunch compliment of Afio Mai Africa Safaris!
The Carnivore is a meat specialty restaurant. At the restaurant, whole joints of meat, lamb, pork legs, exotic meats, sausages, chicken livers and wings and even crocodile are skewered on traditional Masai swords and roasted over a huge charcoal pit!
Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home bound International flight. Day Room/s can be arraigned at a supplement fee on request.
