ITINERARY

Day 1– Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana in Arusha where you have been booked on a bed and breakfast.

Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari.

The theme of coffee permeates throughout the lodge, reflecting in the colours and textures of the delightfully comfortable accommodations with beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms.

Day 2– Fly Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast in the lodge and transfer to nearby Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti, you will be met by your dedicated safari driver guide. Drive on to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch.

Days 3, 4 & 5 – Serengeti National Park

Three full days in Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the park, apart from the Selous, this is the largest of all the Parks in Tanzania, summed up as ‘one of the most unique areas in the world’. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale which has no parallel anywhere in the world. Even during the height of the migration towards the Masai Mara, there is a huge concentration of plains game in the Reserve, mainly concentrated around the watering places, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work.

Day 6 – Fly Serengeti to Zanzibar Island

After breakfast in the lodge, drive to Seronera Airstrip for a schedule flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Karume International Airport in Zanzibar, you will be met by our representative, who will drive you the short distance into Stone Town, and the fabulous Zanzibar Serena Hotel where you have been booked for the night on a half board basis.

Day 7– Zanzibar Stone Town Excursion

Stoned Town Guided Tour

Join a local guide for a walk tour of Stone town to discover the historical sites of Zanzibar Island and its people together with their daily activities. Sites of interest include The House of Wonders, nowadays known as the National Museum of Zanzibar (built in 1883), the Arab Fort which is also known as Old Fort, Old Slave Market, Fruits and Spice Market not forgetting a visit to the Zanzibar curved doors workshops.

Return to the hotel for lunch. Thereafter, drive to your beach resort, Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa where you have been booked for the next four nights.

Days 8, 9 & 10 – Zanzibar Sand & Beach

Three full days in the resort at leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities. Zanzibar is a paradise offering endless activities to make the most of your vacation from its beaches and culture.
